Reputation Explained
Definitions:
Reputation Level: This is the default value of reputation points that a new registered will obtain. The default reputation level is 10.
Reputation Altering Power: This is how many points your reputation will affect others.
How it works:
Default Reputation: 10 points.
Register Date Factor: For every 90 days you are registered, your Reputation Altering Power will increase by 1.
Post Count Factor: For every 1000 posts, your Reputation Altering power will increase by 1.
Reputation Point Factor: For every 100 points of reputation you have, your Reputation Altering Power will increase by 1.
Minimum Post Count: You must have 10 posts before your reputation counts on others.
Minimum Reputation Count: You must have 10 reputation points before your reputation counts on others.
Reputation Limit: 25 Reps per day
Reputation Spread: You must Rep 5 other people before adding Reputation to the same user twice.
The Bars:
http://www.newyorktuners.com/forums/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gif: You will earn one of these for each 100 reputation points you earn.
http://www.newyorktuners.com/forums/images/reputation/reputation_highpos.gif: After 500 points you will earn one of these for every 200 reputation points you earn. Once you reach 1500+ you will stop earning bars.
http://www.newyorktuners.com/forums/images/reputation/reputation_balance.gif: For users with reputation between -99 - 0 reputation points
http://www.newyorktuners.com/forums/images/reputation/reputation_neg.gif: You will earn one of these for every -100 reputation points you earn.
